I’m Ankan Das, a passionate QA Engineer and Web Developer, CSE graduate from North Western University. I combine strong manual testing skills with a growing background in backend development to ensure software quality from both testing and technical perspectives. My ability to understand how applications are built helps me identify issues more effectively and collaborate smoothly with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
In university i get QA & Software Testing certification from Khulna University, EDGE Bangladesh (2025) and participated in competitive programming, including ICT Olympiad Divisional Team Leader (2023), ICPC contest (2023), and Intra-University Programming Contest Champion. I also completed a QA Trainee program at Dizi Nova Limited (Dec 2024 – Mar 2025), where I practiced manual testing, used testing tools, and wrote 500+ test cases for their Dizi Cashier ERP application, strengthening my QA skills and technical expertise.
On the QA side, I focus on manual testing, basic API testing, and regression testing for web applications. I have hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Cypress, and Playwright, which help me design test cases and automate simple tasks. As a web developer, I work with PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build responsive and scalable applications. I also have basic experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB), version control (Git), and development tools, which helps me understand the technical side of applications and write more testable code.
I’m currently improving my automation testing skills while building Laravel-based web applications to strengthen my backend knowledge. My focus is on writing better test scenarios, understanding application flows deeply, and delivering stable, high-quality software.
I enjoy learning new testing techniques, improving application performance, and building small projects to sharpen my development skills. I’m passionate about software quality, clean code, and creating smooth user experiences.
